On December 29, 2022, MP 1.152/22 amending the Transfer Pricing rules, also known as Transfer Pricing in Brazil.
The Provisional Measure amends important foundations and has profound impacts on Transfer Pricing calculations, aligning Brazilian rules with the standard applied in countries that are members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
According to the text of the Provisional Measure, taxpayers will have the option to apply the new rules for the 2023 calendar year, with compliance being mandatory for all taxpayers as of the 2024 calendar year.
